I'll take mine with thumb rest holes. Not sure what to do about the regular screw holes. Scott, did you find there was a big difference between hole locations on the Bach p/g as compared to the original Gibsons?

The Bach guard is slightly smaller so the holes do not line up with the Gibson holes. most guys have used the Gibson hole pattern  mounting my repro guards with success. When I fitted the new guard to my Bach I used the Bach screw pattern on the Gibson repro guard. In retrospect I would have used the Gibson hole pattern and not worried about  putting holes in the Bach. It was a PITA to line up the holes on the body to the new guard.

Chris I think I have enough to get one to you. I need to know what type of pickup cut out to make for each order. These should be ready next week.

I'll add my specs for both here. Scott, if you'd rather have them in an email or PM, let me know...

"With"   ;)

Standard size/shape Gibson NR pickup route

Thumb rest holes

Screw holes - this is the one I wonder about. I'd like the Gibson pattern (I don't mind an extra set of tiny holes under the PG), but I seem to remember someone having an issue with the rear most hole. Then again Scott, you have both kinds of birds right there so I'll trust your judgment!

Herr Carlston divulged: "but I seem to remember someone having an issue with the rear most hole ..."

Don't we all. A recurring topic here.
