i knew that the story would deal with people. although i envisioned a person stuck in the hole. we have big dogs thus a big dog door and just about any small to medium size person could fit thru easily. the door has a slide in panel that blocks the opening when needed.

Yeah, if I had one it would definitely have a panel to block the opening when needed.

In this case at least the intruder was good looking.
