RIP, one of my favorites.

I immediately thought of her performance in The Hospital, a dark dark satire which you shouldn't watch if you're about to become a hospital patient. The only clip I found on YT with her in it was dubbed in German.

One of my favorite actresses ever.  She is irreplaceable.

'm not even sure that was her regular German dub voice - German TV strived for consistency in dubbing actors because it is unsettling if someone speaks all of the sudden with another voice:

It was nice to see her again in GoT:

Diana Rigg as a Bond girl in 1969.

One of the acting world's class acts. A remarkable beauty who turned her path into a wonderful dramatic actress as she aged.

When I was in high school, two of my friends and I would meet every Friday night at the home of the only one whose family owned a color TV. We watched a bunch of Friday evening TV, but the highlight of the evening was always The Avengers. We had a standing rule that no one talked during the show, only during the commercials, so we wouldn't miss anything.

And of course, we all had crushes on Diana Rigg. Who didn't?

And we all envied Patrick Macnee's tailoring. I understand that his wardrobe was his own clothing, and his tailor made a living for years from guys who wanted the look of Patrick Macnee, who passed in 2015.

Even though I've never watched Game of Thrones, I shall miss Dame Diana.

I just finished watching Wild Bill on Britbox. Rob Lowe's love interest was played by Diana's daughter Rachael Stirling. I had seen her before and you could see the family resemblance, but now that she's in her 40s, it's really noticeable how much her voice, mannerisms and looks are like her mother.

Thanks, Dave -  I didn't know of her daughter.  I see the resemblance for sure.

You can see her for a couple of seconds in the trailer at the 27 second mark.

Yup, you can tell. Those nasolabial folds - always attractive on her mum too - give her away. Not a Botox user then, thankfully.
