When I think of the Bass VI I always think of Aerosmith's Back In The Saddle.  Perry played the track on Rocks but all I could find was Crespo's version after Perry had left the band.

Jimmy Crespo was balls out, man.  No slouch at all.

If you find the (real) Fleetwood Mac Boston Tea Party gig CDs out there, Peter Green does an extended Bass VI solo, albeit not in a bass playing vein. But considering his first recorded stuff was as a bass player (Shotgun Express) then it is all cool.

Almost as cool as Jimmy Crespo.
Model One and Schallers?  Ish.

I really liked Rock In A Hard Place with Crespo on guitar.  It was a great record.

I heard that Jack Bruce used a Bass VI on the Fresh Cream record too.
