He was taken to the hospital by ambulance a couple of hours ago and was reportedly not breathing when the paramedics got there.

Sky Saxon died today too.

If he has "gone", there is a tiny part of me that thought earlier today that he was going to disappear with all that pre-sales money from the O2 shows... cynical or what...

Off The Wall is still one of my favorite records.  Louis Johnson played bass (as well as on Thriller) and the record really floored me when it came out.  I think MJ was 20 at the time it was released.
