Rory checked out on June 14th, 1995 so I'm watchin' a dvd of him when he was young.
Warmed up with his Calling Card cd.

I was hooked on him the first time I heard "Catfish" from Taste. It was playing in the local "head shop record store" when my friends and I walked in.  I got to see him perform 4 times, and got to interview him once.  A truly nice guy, and one of the greatest.  He *really* wanted the Stones gig, but Keith kinda screwed it up, and by the time the Stones needed to pick, Rory was back on the road.

Need to crank up "Souped Up Ford" or "The Loop" tonight.

Rory was a great guitar player and a good singer; I loved Bullfrog Blues when I first heard it, but the bass solo blew me away.

I love Taste's "On the Boards". I'm going to listen to it now. 8)
