The Death of Rock: The Archive

Stumbled across this site, looking for something I've since forgotten. And yeah, it's kinda morbid.

Why did Salvador Dali cross the road?
Clocks.

Say what? Merle Watson and Whitney Houston are on the front page, if either of them are "rock" then the word means nothing. IMHO including people who died of diseases in their 50s is not what I'd call before their time. Too young to go, yes, but unfortunately they were just on the wrong side of the statistical curve. Hardly in the same category as rock stars dying young from accidents or from substance abuse.

I scanned the AB section, as soon I saw that Jack Anglin and Bix Biederbecke were included in a "rock" archive I realized how weird a site this is. OTOH he did include David Box. Glad someone else remembers him.
