I know I'm not the only Tom Lehrer fan here.
He put his songs in the public domain a few years ago. Now last month he's made his audio files and lyrics available for free download, but the site will be shut down in the not too distant future. If you're interested, act accordingly.

But why is he shutting down the site? He's relinquished his intellectual ownership, has put his songs up, but now wants to end their availability? It's a national treasure after all.

Because he's 94 and doesn't want to bother with a website any more? Who knows.
