Cool looks, even if its butt is way too roundy.

That butt looks ridiculous. I wonder if there's a reason, i.e. would it do anything to help counteract neck dive?
-
Makes perfect sense to me Dave. I kinda like the assymetric shape.
-
When will someone make one of these with the GUITAR on top? Mike Rutherford got it right...
-
I NEED THIS! :o
-
i could actually use that in my band.aaah torment. must not must not...
-
I kinda like the shape too, a lot more elegant than just keeping it regularly round.
-
I want a doubleneck for ages. Just for the looks... Will bookmark this one..
-
The headstock shape reminds me of the Brice headstocks

Brice and Agile are both distributed here by Rondo Music. Could be the same factory.
-
I know of two PC Firebird doublenecks...
Who'd be up for a Thunderbird/Firebird hybrid...?
-
I'm in, as long it neckdives! :P
-
I'd want a double neck with two basses.
Fretted/fretless
or
Long scale/short scale
or
4-string/8-string
or
4 string/bariton
-
Nothing cries "70ies gear hedonism" louder than a doubleneck! Or two.

always loved Mark Egan's fretless/fretted bass
-
A 5 string fretless/8 string fretted combo would be cool for me. But first, I need to join a Ric 480 (top) with a 4003S. ;D

I'll take Julian Cope's bird, TYVM. Bass on bottom as well!

Here is a Robin doubleneck that popped up on Craigslist:

"(Rare) Offers" and no asking price means he wants a lot more than he can get. Robins have always had terrible resale. Although Robin is now out of business, my guess is that they will not become collectibles; if anything, I expect the prices to go down.

I don't know how easy it would be to come up with a reasonable price for an item like this. Can't be that many floating around to compare it to, or much of a demand for them. I have a feeling that his idea of a good offer is much higher than mine would be.
-
With all due repect, but Fender shapes and doubleneck don't go together at all in my eyes. The SG look is fine as is the Ric look but that Robin Fender rip-off look is awful.

Robin never had the rep of other mostly Fender-inspired boutique brands. Fine quality guitars, yet not enough people knew of them and valued them. If it's a brand you have to explain to people, you aren't going to get much for it. As opposed to Sadowsky, for example, who isn't widely known but is well enough known among serious bassists.

its the headstock...again.

Ahh... I forgot about that one... ;)
