Twisted a little could be as simple as not knowing how to adjust the dual truss rods, and could be a simple fix.

I was thinking the same thing Dave.

Happy Face

"neck is twisted a little"

The fact he felt compelled to mention it is worrisome.

Alanko

The neck plate looks very rusty. Did anything on those basses give off corrosive gas over time, or has this been stored somewhere unfavorable?

4001v63 in Jetglo. $2,980 BIN

They did it to basses with flaws or unattractive grain, still I love them in gloss black more than in the standard FG or MG.

The fabulous British Racing Green + CB bass is on Reverb! for US$3,460, and on eBay for a measly sum of GBP 3,125 (US$4,175).

That is one PERFECT bass.

Dave W

I love that BRG bass. Price doesn't seem out of line for a one-off with CB.

ilan

Maybe there was more than one made.

Highlander

Might have missed it but one seller is noting the BRG as 25 off... not a one off...

Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...

Sorry, I missed that.

The one on Reverb is already sold.

Denis

Wow, that BRG is stunning!
Why did Salvador Dali cross the road?
Clocks.

I'd like it better if it was a v63 or even a 4003S.

Still time on ebay to get one under the tree, DW... just gonna be slightly late... ;)

I'm satisfied with my Jetglo 4003S, thank you.

It's still fun to look at these.

2005 Montezuma Brown in Japan. Reasonable $2,043 BIN.

Can't remember the last time I saw a Monty for sale. That was the '03 CoY extended to '04.

I had one for about a year (bought it new). Neck was too uncomfortable to me. Sold it to Scotty Allen for his collection.
