I know what you mean. The last album that I really enjoyed was Black Holes and Revelations....since then, it's been increasingly more lackluster. I heard that Matt said in a recent magazine interview that Muse is bigger/more important than Queen, that doesn't make me like 'em any better either! ???

Man, that looks great! I'm kinda digging the 2x2 look with the Fender body....before I saw it, I don't think I would have thought much of it. I've gotta Warmoth 13 degree angle, paddle headstock neck that I'm gonna do something similar with soon.

Cool, I didn't know they were still doing this! I wish they would tour the states.
Lol Creme is one of my heroes....Trevor Horn's pretty cool too.

Oh man! That looks fantastic! Those pups must sound pretty decent considering you didn't just replace them.

I loved his comment on the second last page that he's been playing and setting up basses for 20 years, but had never encountered a truss rod that adjusts at the body end of the neck - I guess he's done a great job of avoiding Fender basses for 20 years.  Seriously?

Talkbass is littered with f***ing tools. I get so pissed at all the finger pointing and "correcting" some of these douche's so self righteously employ when in reality they don't know squat.  Carlo doesn't need those asshole's endorsment to validify himself, their ignorance and arrogance nulls any credibility they could have had.

I have a Cataldo JAEBird and it kicks ass! I can't wait until the finish starts coming off ; }

Agreed, and well said. Crimson always was truly progressive. I get what maxschrek is saying. I did hit a point somewhere along the line where I felt "progressive" bands had become more REgressive. Honestly though, the new Yes album makes me smile, and at the end of the day, that's all that matters! Oh, and the new Rush is sounding incredible.....  8)

Yeah, I really dig the new Yes album too!

What exactly makes the music from the video in the original post Prog?  It doesn't sound like anything I haven't heard a billion times before from various sources over the past 30 or so odd years. Is it prog because some of the musicians playing on it at one time in their careers actually pushed the bounderies of rock music? The others (Dream Theatre, Spock's Beard, etc.) merely re till well worn musical soil all the while parading themselves as "pioneers"...the term prog has become a brand I'm afraid. Most of the new stuff sounds very safe and unadventurous to me. I'm not a fan.  Grizzly Bear is prog rock, not this bullshit. Sorry, just my opinion.
