Can't see it in your photo, but is the serial # sticker still inside the cabinet?  I brightend the picture up on my PC, and it looks like it's a single baffle cab which means it could be as old as '65. If it was older than that - it would have had a double baffle design with the 8 oblong ports.

Now that's what I'm talking about ! Looks like my rig ! Great minds think alike ! Is that a 2x15 or 4x12 Marshall cab ? I am dying to pickup a Hiwatt 4x12 to go with my  Hiwatt 2x15. My rig from the weekend. Usually I run two heads but I let the DR201 do all the work (we had to clear the stage asap for the next band) the SC and Hiwatt 100 were there just in case.

Only just noticed Jim still using his Acoustic 360s too - as well as FIVE Hiwatts. Specially for you Scott; enjoy!!!

Well, the phone camera shot is a little blurry, but here's the twin rig setup.  Ashdown EVO combo, Eden 400W Traveler and the Peavey 1x15 cab.  I'll have live recordings from last night using this in about a week.  All the other bands that used this sounded great out front.  One of the other bass players even bought me a drink for supplying the backline.

Baz - you're from Chicago?  I had an old Embassy that was not only Tom Petersson's, but Jon Brandt owned it after him.  Jon never knew that it was one of Petersson's.  Dave Angel even had it for a while before I got my hands on it.

Gary, you once stopped by my house in Brookfield, and sold me some homemade T bird saddles! It was at the time you were delivering the Embassy bass. Brandt is a Very cool guy.

Now I remember you!  And I got an email last night.  I might be getting the Embassy back.  Decisions, decisions.

Mark F. posts last night for the first time in quite a while, and now you might be getting the Embassy back. If he's selling, you know what the only right decision is.  :)

I concur!

LOL!  I think I'd take the Embassy over a Thunderbird any day.  ESPECIALLY that Embassy.  Mark and I will tell you that it's like no other bass we've had.  I'm convinced that Petersson had the pickups rewound.

Well? Is Mark selling it? Are you buying it back?

Inquiring minds want to know.
