DROOOOOOOOOL..... a lefty Nr, i've been breaking Bacjs balls two years for that. Any idea of what the price is?
-
I don't know what the price is, but I have a hunch they are not cheap. :P
Why don't you shoot him an email?
-
Donno...Bach told me we could talk about the lefty version of the Bachbird this year, i think i'll wait, haven't got money for serious spending :-[
-
Those are pretty much Ronnbirds (leftybass). :)
-
Neat basses!
Please share any pricing info please, love the green one esp. the back of the neck!
-
Nice ! They were confusing me at first, They are both lefty ........................right ?
-
check out the slant of the bridge...am I having a brain fart...they look righty to me?
-
Wow, they appear to be perfect for me!

Haha, just saw yer response. I wonder what's up, the slant of the bridge on a T-Bird is what prevents me from getting one, IF I ever found a lefty.

They are lefty but with the strings upside down. Probably ordered by a lefthanded bassplayer who learned to play bass on a righthanded bass (upside down) without restringing.

Eh, that warped my brain a little!
-
Just take your own bass and (try to) play it left handed. That's exactly how these Stavem NR Tbirds are strung.

Hmmmm, looks kind of backasswards to me ;D Still, somehow I like them.
-
Not quite sure what it is but I'm quite attracted to this lil' number from that website.

There is one lefty here that plays that way iirc...
-
They're either nice in a weird way or weird in a nice way ... can't decide.
-
I emailed them.............still no reply
-
Probably need to send via "icemail"
-
I still don't understand why people put up a contact page with an email address and then don't reply.
-
(cue "Bachbird")

Cue Seymour Duncan...

Cue Seymour Duncan...
Back around 1988 I sent a dead '68 Telecaster Bass pickup to Seymour after replacing the one in my bass with his pickup. I told him when he fixed it he could give it to Dusty Hill or Keith Ferguson. He sent me a Post Card (remember those!) thanking me for the pickup. I still have it somewhere........

I must say myself included in this day in age I expect a fast response, not everyone works that way. John Diggens who built my Jim Lea bass was very good with updates and emails I waited a year and a half for the bass and well worth it I might add. I found my communication with Bach extremely frustrating no where near as fast as I thought it should be. (believe me before biz on the web I never moved this fast) People expect it right the F now (me included). I find that parts of Europe moves at a slower pace than the US, not that this is bad just not what many have become accustomed to in the internet age. So I hold out hope that I will be replied to. Patience is a virtue (my wife tells me this all the time)

No kidding! I called SD and left a message about their replacement Ripper pups AND sent an email. That was maybe 4 weeks ago? I've heard zip.
Reading Scott's post about BaCH, I have to say I must have lucked out because I contacted them on Tuesday, Friday wired them the money and the following Wednesday the NR was at the house! I've waited longer for things shipped from across the state!
-
Waiting is not just the sole propriety of vendors in Europe . I waited six months for my Thunderbird pickup from Seymour Duncan, I had to call them and ask where the heck it was. I did get it though :)
-
oops, yes I was away too long :-[
