Last week I did an interview via Skype with Raul Amador of Bass Musician Magazine, to talk about The Gibson Bass Book.
That was a new experience for me, as I've never Skyped before and I'm certainly not used to doing interviews (in English).
But Raul did a great job editing the video with some images of Gibson bass guitars that are mentioned during the interview.
I probably should have said some things differently, or maybe I shouldn't have said them at all ;-)
But all in all I'm excited about the interview being online!

Haha, but I did roll my eyes a bit too often. I never knew I do that. I shouldn't do that. Looks weird.

Has any of you guys in the USA seen the latest edition of Bass Player magazine?
I hear there is a little article about The Gibson Bass Book in there. But the bookshops in Velp don't have the magazine...
I'm quite curious what they say

The article was positive. But way too short. And somehow they put the wrong cover art next to the article...

I just saw it. But wait: Are you telling me that Gibson basses are not all short scale, mahogany, muddy and neck diving ugy ducklings? A world is opening up for me.

As you seem to be an expert. I want to buy this Gibson. Any good?

Actually, those "Bullit" basses - that is what they were called, right? - weren't so bad at all, that pup - whatever it was and it can't have been much - made for a nice nasty punk sound.
