I'll go the mushrooms and onions in butter, but hold the venison... ;)

Bizarre story from our neck of the woods, the deer flew completely through the car. Injuries but luckily no human was killed. The deer didn't make it.

They were lucky, thats what I thought was going to happen to me. I'm having the mirror replaced and the door dent pushed out tomorrow, the dents in the fender are going to be hard to fix so I'm not sure what I'm going to do about that.

The main Race car event of the year here in Oz is The Bathurst 1000, an all day race at Bathurst in rural New South Wales. The circuit runs up over Mount Panorama above the township of Bathurst and back down via Conrod straight. Cars regularly hit the 300kph mark coming down this rollercoaster straight which now has a chicane to slow cars down. Its apparently one of the fastest turns in the world with cars entering it at 290kph. Over the years there have been many interesting road kill experiences during the race.
For your viewing pleasure here are a few  :)

When I moved to where I live now the area was surrounded by woods I could walk a very short distance and hunt deer (I own guns but don't hunt paper targets only) after a while houses started being built and the deer have no place to go. Because people don't hunt like they use to the deer population has grown quite a bit, the tree huggers don't realize how serious the situation is, their comment just relocate the deer but don't kill them they only bitch when they get their car destroyed.
