Dadarrio's @ Juststrings

Anybody notice their prices on EXL's? $22 for a twin pack? $19 for my sixer?

Seem too good to be true...our local music stores are much more expensive...

Nice price on the EXL-170S too - ~$13 and change.  Those are what I run on my shorties.

Thanks for the heads up!

Musicians Friend/Music123 have carried the twin packs for $24.99 for years. Occasionally reduced to $22.99. You can take advantage of their occasional free shipping with no minimum specials (going on right now) or combine them with another purchase to get to their usual $99 minimum for free shipping. Can't do that with juststrings.

Pretty sure the local store charged me $22 for a single set not too long ago.  I would like to give them the business but their prices and their arrogant young sales guys make it really tough...

I've had good luck at GC by telling them I've found a better price on the web - they check it and meet the price - you pay the tax but not shipping.

I just checked the invoice from Imperial Guitars (online) - I bought two sets of 760FL short scale Labella Deep Talkin' flats from them and paid a total of $65 including $8 shipping!  $28.55 a set for these strings is by far the best price I've found...and they even special ordered them for me at that price.  I emailed asking if they could get them - they quoted me a price and I said You Bet!

That's high for a single pack even in a local store.

I don't know if they even offer the twin packs to brick and mortar retailers.

Same retailer sells slinkies for $16-17.  Don't know why the EXL's are so expensive.
