Wow. A 1990s gig bag described with RARE in the listing header.  By next week I suppose it will be RARE VINTAGE.

I suppose that makes my 2 DR5 Heartfield basses from 1989 "vintage".  :)

Almost every time I got a bass from Japan (for most which came in gig bags) I immediately started looking for a hard case for it.

Most of my basses have hard cases now too. The exceptions are the project Univox, the BaCH TH-2 (because I haven't felt like embarking on dealing with a case yet), the JJ, Dano and the Telecaster.

I've never liked gig bags.......... The 20/20's came in gig bags, I had modified rectangular hard shell cases for them within a couple weeks of buying them.  :vader:
