Someone got creative with his Epi EB-0 ...
« on: March 16, 2010, 09:42:22 AM »

http://cgi.ebay.com/Gibson-Epiphone-SG-EB-O-Custom-Bass-Guitar-Retail-669_W0QQitemZ230450100974QQcmdZViewItemQQptZGuitar?hash=item35a7e57aee

A "retail value of $ 669" is stretching things, but what really put me off was this here:

"This is my husband's back up bass. It was only used for practices, and he used it solely as a emergency guitar.

Plays and sounds great, he just does not need three bass guitars. Hate to sell, but we really need to."

Commit this woman to the cleansing power of the holy fire!!! Where are the Pilgrims when you need them?

I like the PG.  Hoping to get off dead center soon on my project to turn my EB-0 into a short scale EB-3.

ONLY three basses - that wouldn't start to cover what most of the guys here have?

I have conflicting information here:

"I'm happy to be single ..."

and

"my GF could only smile  ...".

How many Marks are there?  :o

Single as in not married or co-habitating, dating ok, yes.

I'll have to check the closet later but I think I have more basses than women's shoes  ;D

A new Epi EB-0 is $199 at MF. This one is used, let's say it's worth $150 unmodded.

Subtract 100 for ugly pickguard
Subtract 100 for EMG downgrade
Subtract 100 for saying he doesn't need three basses.

She'd have to pay me $150 to take it. Maybe more, depending on my mood.
