The chrome appears to be as good as I have seen, guitars, custom cars etc..as good as anything I have seen and it comes with screws. When I was going through my rodding phase, I was told by a chrome shop that if a piece appears so deep that it looks like there is blue beneath the chrome, then it is a good chrome job. Absolutely no machine marks are on the outside of the tailpiece anywhere. There are a few on the inside of the machined barrel area that will be covered when strings are installed.
The measurement center to center is 2 1/8" as pictured which is perfect for Gibby lovers and will look grand with my Schaller 460 chrome bridge.
