I really like your #1 bass. Very fresh and original. You have a gift for design.

Very nice color indeed! Carvins are very well made, I'm sure you will enjoy that bass!

Actually, I'm no stranger to Carvin basses:

Here's my '00 B4 in sapphire blue, the '10 BB70 and my '08 ICON 4P in Deep triplestep Dragonburst.

The new BB70 is really hard to photograph, the finish wants to wash out in this group photo

I dont like the Carvin strings that come stock on their basses, (too stiff for me),,so I tossed a new set of D'Adarrio XL-170's on her, tweaked the neck, and took a bit out of the nut and I have to say she's coming along very nicely. After a week,, she's really settling in.

Very versatile tone, from warm to aggressive with a great slap tone. I think it will be a really nice gigging bass. Balance is great as well.

Yep, its a stock reissue horseshoe with the shoes removed.

I love the way the horseshoe pickups look, but they really get in my way when I play. Its either keep them on and change my whole playing style, or simply remove them. I chose the latter.

I have them wrapped up and safely tucked away in my parts toolbox.

I have the GK MB500 head and love it. I would have gone with the combo, but already had a 112-II NEO cab. It sounds great like it is, but I do want to pick up a second cab to utilize the full 500 watt potential.
