« on: November 27, 2013, 03:23:45 PM »
Just found about about this band.
An album from 1972.
Mother's Finest avant la lettre

Lead singer Olivia Favela was also their drummer!
Very impressive all girl band

Rob, oh Rob, oh Rob, such glaring gaps in your knowledge of R'n'R history, tsk, tsk, tsk ...
We've taken too much for granted ... and all the time it had grown ...
From techno seeds we first planted ... evolved a mind of its own ...

In all honesty: I knew two or three tracks from them and the fact that they are always mentioned as "the all-girl band before The Runaways" in Runaways bios. Of course, this is music, while The Runaways were ... let's just say they were art!
