Great song has a Sammar Hager feel to the vocals ;)

No one said Derek Sherinian was in the band  :o

I didn't know his name - that's why I didn't mention him, so sorry!

That "In the Summertime" version is brilliant. The way Idol sings it, Slash's solo and the rock drums towards the end - brillif***ingant!!!!

Funny but to me it's the one musician does better music outside the band he is known for - Dream Theater-which I really find bland.

Summertime is going to be on his upcoming new solo LP.

With Black Communion, it really makes remember how much I miss his Purple era.

GH played some gigs here in Oz in April last year. The band was made up of local muso's.

I'm a fan of Hughes but no so much Jason Bonham. I find his drumming lacks a certain organic feel. For me he ruined the Paul Rogers Muddy Water Blues album which I think would otherwise have been great.

BCC is not going to be touring in the near future. The touring schedule of mr Bonamassa doesn't allow for any touring of BCC. Glenn is doing a solo tour with his own band.

That explains why they are saying that they want to record a second album before touring proper. Of course and sensibly so that tour will only happen if the product sells.

I have ordered the CD and will report once I've heard it.

Right! I was mistaken. Glenn's touring the UK now & points beyond with his solo band.
I read his site too fast. heh

Jason Bonham is doing a cool tour now too that's a Tribute to his legendary father.

I just pre-ordered the CD/DVD from Amazon for $12.99.  I decided to pre-order the new Heart CD, Red Velvet Car, for $7.99.

Yeah, I have the Heart on order too. And just bought the new Accept! They still sound like poor man's Judas Priest.   And Peter Baltes' P wouldn't go amiss in our "Show your mojo'd basses!"-thread!

I was never a big Accept fan.  I did see them with the little munchkin, Udo, at the helm.  HOWEVER, Baltes has one of the coolest little bass runs in my memory (triple tracked, no less) on this one.
