New Eastwood semisolid for Peter Hook

(1/3) > >>

Chris P.:
Eastwood already makes the copy of the Shergold Marathon 6 voor Hooky and now they added a new one.

Fun facts: semisolid, longscale, reversed split P and a thru neck.

That’s a little pricey for Eastwood. Some years ago I was missing a Rivoli I had sold and picked up a Classic IV on kijiji for a good price. It’s not a bad bass.

Dave W:
P pickup right by the bridge? No thanks!

Price is high but Eastwood seems to have figured out how to make limited editions and still make a profit. They probably expect to sell even fewer of these than usual and so have priced it higher. Hopefully (for them) there are enough Hooky fans to make it work.

Chris P.:
For me the pickup is too close to the bridge too. So I'll keep it at my Starfire I with the split P in the middle.

Alanko:
Eastwood instruments always felt overpriced, when I tried them in the past. Harley Benton build quality, copy of some random '60s catalog guitar, Fender price tag.
