Gibson LP-12 at Music Go Round in Burnsville MN
« on: July 14, 2021, 11:21:20 AM »
I was told that this amp was listed for $200.00 on Craigslist locally. Then someone bought it and re-listed it for $500 or $550. Now I see it listed on Reverb at a local Music Go Round for $450.00. It's not in the greatest of shape, but 51 years later not many complete amps have survived........

I remember seeing it on Craigslist for quite a while at the lower price.

The second guy that listed it on Craigslist, listed it with copies of pamphlets that I sent to Moonweasel who runs the Late Sixties Les Paul site (LSLP). He posted a page on my amp, the early low impedance guitars & owners manuals. The guy that had it listed for $500 must have barely  recovered his original purchase price if he sold it to Music Go Round.

Music Go Round isn't as inflexible as GC, but they wouldn't be paying a premium for an old Gibson bass amp.
