This film is destined for an Oscar nomination.  The only thing it's missing is Nick Cage.

I never change tuning with the guitarists, personally I just find it easier to move around on the board to accommodate...plus that way when I'm falling asleep during the ballads I don't panic and jump to the wrong note when I wake up.

Sounds like a good one to play as my bride walks down the aisle in April.

Bass in the video looks like a John Birch style bridge to me but certainly doesnt mean it is one...

2X what they've sold for in other auctions makes me wonder if it will re-appear in a week "re-listed due to a non-paying bidder".

I think I read somewhere that the puppy-bowl was fake this year too  ;D

Given the time they have to set up, tear down get people in/out etc. all for a <10 min "show" it doesnt really surprise me that they take the easy way out. Nor does it really bother me, it's just a big commercial after all is said and done.

That said, I'd never really seen Bruno Mars perform before and liked his part of the act.  At least he was more interesting to watch than the game.

If it didn't violate my "no bolt-ons" policy I'd consider it   :o

I'd heard that some of this was a collective agreement to call it a day due to Mick Mars' degenerative condition...

I'd heard of this a while back... surprised no one had mentioned it, I guess, in hindsight...

I think I read the same interview with Sixx and he said something to that effect.  About a week later Mars put something out that said it was not the case and that he had no limitiations to keep touring.  Personally I'm inclined to think Sixx is telling the truth and I kind of admire them for hanging it up if Mick really cant keep going.

Saw them a few months back in Vegas. Great show overall, even considering that Vince sings like he's reading a half-finished crossword puzzle. I haven't been to a Cooper show since the 90s so this tour will have to be a must for me this year.

Seems like a great deal, they give you $2300 to take it...oh wait I got that backwards...never mind.

I thought Badass came out in the mid 70s. Pickups kind of look like Schaller humbuckers to me. The cap on the neck heal seems kind of strange...if it really was an employee build why not have Gibson knobs, pots etc.???  Didn't Gibson sell off a bunch of leftover parts when they shuttered the Kalamazoo plant? Would make me wonder if someone bought up the body and then finished off with other parts especially since some of the bits seem more early 80s...
