Scariest metal band I've ever seen.  I may have nightmares.

Contrary to what James Bond says, a good Gibson should be stirred, not shaken.

That is hysterically funny.

Shonen Knife got the jump on all-female japanese band obsessed with chocolate, though. Twenty-eight years ago!!!

Basses: Gibson lpb-1, Gibson dc jr tribute, Greco thunderbird, Danelectro dc, Ibanez blazer.  Amps: genz benz shuttle 6.0, EA CXL110, EA CXL112, Spark 40.  Guitars: Danelectro 59XT, rebuilt cheap LP copy

Shonen Knife were charming in their own way.

Let's not forget Cibo Matto (the name is Italian for crazy food)

Sean Lennon on bass here.

LOL!  It was something a friend of mine shared on FB, and I had the very same reaction that you did.

Funny as it is they seem to have their sh*t together!  Crazy ass combination of everything - only in Japan.  How often so you see glow sticks at a metal show?  ;)

Yes. Yes there is. Black Metal went to Japan and got squashed by Godzilla.

I like the song where they scream and growl. They use some kind of effect.

I wonder who is their audience?

Japanese Death-by-Chocolate Metal?

I liked it, but I felt a little dirty watching it.

I saw Yoko at the Beatles tribute...she was sitting in front (appropriate) and had sunglasses so dark that no one could see through them - so she slid them down her nose and looked over the tops.  Definition of poseur behavior.

I've never been part of the Yoko-bashing crowd, but I've never been impressed with her either.
