I used to etch the BOC symbol on all my work tools - saw them dozens of times from '77 up until the "Monsters Of Rock" disaster gig - several set of pics - I've slowly been getting all the CD's and still have all the original vinyl, even some quad releases...

I think Joe Bouchard (now on guitar) plays with Dennis Dunaway and Neal Smith these days...?

I still play the recordings excessively when the mood takes me...

Nugent did a song called "Tailgunner"

Slightly further off topic but Saxon's "747" song...

You could use an image of "mother of pearl" on the clef instead of black/white...

I was talking to a chap from the "dudepit" who looks in from time-to-time (Nigel) and used to own a '51 P (small world occurrence at a site I was working at) who agreed with me re the edges and "digging in" when commenting to him on my RD mods (yes, radical, but...)

We had a baby crow for a while in '92 until he needed "aviary time" to get his wings up to strength... my wifes youngest nephew named him "Ugly Kid Crow", found him wandering around on the ground with no-one but a cat taking interest...  :o so he caught him and we got him to raise...

Yes, we have pictures, somewhere...  ( but true)

He was more than slightly deranged, Uwe... Unfortunately he suffered with "bipolar disorder"/"manic depression" - one of his worst "known" events was one time he went after a few members of Hawkwind with a weapon of some kind, chasing them down the road (on a US tour?), with the full intent of causing harm...

He may well have been gay but he left behind some family, married at least 3 times and I know he had a few children...

This is a reasonable link with a potted bio...
http://www.aural-innovations.com/robertcalvert/calvertbio/calvertbio.htm

I have an excellent (BBC4) hour+ long Hawkwind special that details the "incident" - I'm a big fan of Calvert, which only grew after getting "Captain Lockheed" when it was released, way back when... and the early Hawkwind material; never saw them with Lemmy but did see RC on the "Atomhenge" tour - First had "Motorhead", resplendant with it's violin solo, on the b side of a 1974 single ("Kings Of Speed" - I wonder why they linked "speed" and "Motorhead"...  ;D) that I bought when it came out... a big fan of Mr Kilmister, for my sins too..  ;)
