I would be suprised if there were only two!
I'm quite sure there's a whole lot more  ;D

I'll let you off on the omission of Bill Wyman from the EB-3 pages

Cheers

Didn't Bill dislike his EB-3? I seem to remember him saying so in an interview in one of the bass magazines back in the 90s.

Bill didn't even cross my mind to be honest. I associate him more with Vox, Framus and Fender Mustang.

And the Travis Bean short scale which was the live mainstay of his in the second half of the 1970s.  I think the EB-3 only lasted for the 1973 Pacific tour.  Of course, he then went full Steinberger in the 80s and 90s :-)

It arrived yesterday!11 days to reach the other side of the planet.not too bad. Great work Rob i love it,i'm going to read it lots of times.Loads of great photos and interesting information.
One thing that struck me was how many different types of pickups gibson made in house over the years, quite a few never returned to-kind of makes you wonder if they lost the plans for the sb400 single coils or the low z pickup  and a bunch of others?Lurking in some dusty corner is a filing cabinet full of the arcane secrets of vintage bass tone....
Louder bass!.

That is correct Tom. I told Karen the book wouldn't be there on time. But she didn't mind.  ;)
