Same here. It is interesting to see how the LoBue progressed over the years.

I can't even get to that site, it's blocked for security reasons (not content), $immon$ viruses lurking.

Happy to help George!  ;D

There still seems to be debate on the scale length of the Lobue. I always assumed short scale based mostly on the bridge location and the similarity to an EB-0. But then, realizing it's a 24 fret fingerboard sticking all the way out of the body, I started thinking maybe it is long? Whoever runs the web site says this about his customized EB-0 though - "It has a 30½" scale which matches that of the LoBue."  ???

Somewhere I have a link saved to a site dedicated to the man that made the Lobue. It claims 34" scale in the details on that site. It must be on one of my home pc's cause I can't find it on my work one.

I like that the only bass on the list that doesn't have a link and a photo is the Punisher.

That Goin' Blind version goes to show how melodic (and cutely old-fashioned) Gene can play. Anything he plays immediately tells me that he learned to play bass in the (early) sixties. He plays faultlessly, but he never sounds nimble (even he says so and that the other guys sometimes ask him to play guitar parts in the studio because he makes them sound so beefy and archaic).
