The Bass Zone / Bought a doubleneck!
« on: October 09, 2009, 11:46:14 AM »
I could swear I posted this while home sick yesterday. Maybe I previewed and forgot to post? (Wouldn't be the first time)
Anyway, with my recent acquisition of a vintage Moog Taurus pedal synthesizer, it just didn't seem right that I had no doubleneck to go with it. Picked this baby up for a total of $902 with shipping. The previous owner ditched the EMG "Select" pups in favor of real EMGs and added a bass/treble circuit for the bass, and a mid boost for the guitar. There are two extra knobs on the lower horn. Nice arrangement, though I would have gone with Gibson TB+ for the bass, and some Duncans for the guitar. Whatever. I bought it mostly for writing and doubt I'll ever use it live. Until I start my prog rock tribute band.
