I remember JH saying that the reason he discontinued the Black Trim option in the mid 90's was because they were so unpopular. Especially on instruments finished in Red, Blue, White and Mapleglo.

Like Dave said, many dealers had them in stock for years cause they were butt ugly.

I had a white/black trim that I thought was pretty, mapleglo/black was kind of pretty too, but blue/black trim was not my favorite

That color combination is so 80's. IMHO black trim looks best on Jetglo and White.

Black and blue happen to be my favorite colours. :)
