Mark, that would be historic Reaney Park - it's a short walk up the hill to the campus entrance by the President's house:

In keeping with the agrarian surroundings, it's also the site of the National Lentil Festival each year.  I hate lentils.

The armory is still there, but the train tracks were removed as part of the train system cutbacks over the past 20 years.

 I still have the remnants of a scar on my knee from crashing my bike on the street that borders that park............Learned how to swim at the pool  ;D
