Grabber review
« on: July 03, 2009, 10:08:03 AM »
I just bought British Guitar & Bass Magazine (August issue: Ritchie Blackmore Strat on the cover) and it features a review of the new Grabber. Haven't read it yet, but I'll keep ya posted!

I tried to get in touch with Gibson NL for months without luck. Strange, cos you would think they want us to review the new Silverburst Epi T-bird, this Grabber and the Epiphone Thunderbird Pro. Just before the Messe Gibson US stopped all the advertisements because of the crisis and a week later they decided to fire the marketing people. So my contact, which I got in touch with after months of mailing and calling, is now fired, so I have to start to find someone again... :(

BTW: Basvarken does some reviews now too! I made him happy last month by prividing him a real bass for once. No Tonka Hobbits, no shortscale children's basses, but a real Fender!

I can't handle a real bass for grown ups, so I stick to my toys (and aircraft carrier basses aka Thunderbirds)

WTF? The shortscales that I own are all more than 35 years old! They are grown up. Just small grown ups...

And just because they are small doesn't mean they don't have rights...

To me, that kind of dwarfs the erotic aspect of it. One thing at a time.

At parties of the band Queen they used to have dwarves with plates with cocaine on their heads.

I'll wait with the Grabber review for a while, cos that would spoil this thread.
