Looks like you were treated well! People danced, always good at a corporate gig.

Did you resurrect one of your old shirts for the Royal event, Mark?  ;)

Looks like a cool gig.

That's some dressing room!  Did the venue supply a Psychiatrist with the couch?
I also love the arachnid table...very cool digs.
Looked like a great show - congrats.

The dress code for guests was "black tie" so I figured the least I could do was wear a ruffled tux shirt, even if it is paisley LOL.  Actually, for the earlier couple of sets I was wearing my generic Wyman pale blue suit.

Nice gig Mark!  Did you use the SG bass exclusively?

For this gig, yes.  It is really an excellent bass - overall it is the best built Gibson I've owned.

I took the Dan Armstrong reissue to the gig as well, but the uneven string volume is really bugging me.  D and G are much quieter than A and E strings, and the bridge is non-adjustable.  It has a timber saddle, so I think I need to look at shaving off some of the bottom edge to lower the treble side of the bridge a little.

I'm sure we've all played bar gigs where the band has to compete with a sporting event on the big screen.  It was the same shit, different sport for us the other week ....
