There's a lot to like about that Waghorn RD Artist bass.

Please keep your eyes open for my stolen 1973 Burgundyglo Rickenbacker 4001 Serial # MD1582. It was stolen in November of 2006. Reward for its return. Thx!

I looked at Waghorn's site, that bass was a custom order from 2014. It has SGD pickups. That's David Schwab's company, apparently no longer in business.

Seems like he is back with new company name but same website adress: http://www.sgd-lutherie.com/index.html

Looks like his new business isn't quite ready yet. I see a lot "coming soon".

Waghorn also has a nice take on the Thunderbird. Although I find the PJ combination a bit unfortunate

Yup. Pickup sales and service seems to be up and running though.

There's still a lot of rancor over at TB regarding Mr Schwab's previous business practices. Lots of people paid up and got skunked for product, and they are aware of his return. The drums are still beating....

There's also a pic of some texts from him indicating he's going to work at DiMarzio.

I was about to use him for some pickups just as these issues started to come to the fore. I apparently dodged that bullet.
Stable....for now.    www.risky-biz.com

Someone pointed me to the Talkbass threads about him awhile back. Very unfortunate if people are still out money, hopefully he'll make everyone whole.

Making someone whole, now that's a term I haven't heard in a while!

These Waghorns look really nice, needs a Kahler though.

We always look to Uwe's review, does he not still do this?

W.W.U.D. what would Uwe do?

Nice stance!

Oh this is a bass forum...

Where is the "like" button?

I hope so.
I bought 4 single coils from David and though it was a little slow butI never had a problem contacting him or being updated as to delivery.
Good guy from my perspective and dealing with him.

In your world, everything needs a Kahler.  ;D

No doubt Uwe will review whatever finally gets to him.

In the meantime, here's Scott's review of the new Epi bird, in case you didn't see it on FB.

Thanks, we don't need any more Darrin Huffs who swindled $10,000 from people with his compulsive lying and stringing people along.

The nicest guys are the ones you need to look out for.

^ THIS! That post about Darrin Huff is beyond the pale! I wonder how many people paid him for a bass and died without ever getting it.
Why did Salvador Dali cross the road?
Clocks.
