New Paint on an Orville Thunderbird
« on: January 08, 2009, 11:12:49 AM »
Just got it back today from HMR Guitars!
...as always, Ron did an excellent job!
I had HMR add the vintage style two piece bridge and tailpiece.

I'm dropping it off later to have the nut done and given a proper set up.

 Sproing!!!!!!!

WoW!   It's absolutely beautiful. I've seriously considered re-finning my Greco Thunderbird II, if its okay to ask, what did he charge for that? PM me if you need to.

That sure came out nice. I take it that's Seafoam Green, looks too dark to be Surf Green.

I was looking for a color that was close to a vintage (green tint) Pelham Blue, but after looking through the swatches in the paint book
I picked this... and yes I agree, it has a Seafoam Green look to it.
