Marion Morrison is Rooster Cogburn, in TRUE GRIT...

Story: when our older daughter was born we lived in Texas, and I told my father in law that we were going to name her "Anastasia Roberta..." so that we could call her "Nasty-Bob" for short.

I actually had him for about 2 seconds before he caught on.

Two high school friends, Shannon and Robin, brother and sister. Shannon was either being confused with another guy named Shannon or being called by his sister's name.

BTW, didn't Michael Steele go by Micki for a while?

I know of actress Michael Learned.
...who was billed in the early Waltons episodes as Miss Michael Learned.

Yes, she was called Micki during her Runaways tenure - not sure if it went beyond that.

Back to some posts ago. I think John Stirrat of Wilco is a very melodic, 60s-style player. Of course Duff stated that his GREAT intro of Sweet Child o' Mine was inspired by Ronnie Lane. Flea of course. Any more modern melodic players I have to check?

I always thought that Leon Wilkerson was incredibly melodic, and he made it work inside a Southern rock band.
