I can not believe it has been 10 Years... feels like it was just yesterday.
What a loss... he is missed!

Sadly, more likely clutching his chest in pain and sweating profusely.  What a sad way to go.  I was never a big Who fan, but always loved the Ox.  I have more of his solo albums than Who albums.  Always a great tone from him.  I loved his addition of horns to The Who catalog.  Favorites of mine that he wrote would be "My Wife" and "Made In Japan".  Despite not being a Who fan, Live At Leeds in a pretty incredible album, and one of my favorites.

i think the songs made the who musically 'interesting'. not one guy, although he certainly helped.

John AND The Who were pioneers and many are completely unaware of their contribution to Rock and even Music Equipment.

I think I liked his soloing on the Who by Numbers album best - he had a nice warm tone back then. I do not like how it developed in the eighties, nineties and noughties: Buzz-ard indeed.
