A recent show with The Nasty Habits......
« on: October 30, 2009, 07:18:34 PM »
Here are some pics from The Nasty habits most recent short trip, we played 2 nights at a large casino outside of Sequim (S'kwim) Wa. It was a fantastic time for everyone in the band, the staff was incredilbly friendly to us, helpful in every way and everything was first rate. They comped all our roomes and meals, we had nice dressing rooms backstage along with two great sound guys ( 1 FOH, 1 backstage) that made us sound good and look great too using a great lighting system and 2 fog machines.

It's something very special the first time you see your band's name in lights on a very tall sign, here's a gif.

In the lobby of the modest hotel in Sequim I discovered that we had been preceeded by the Agents of Fortune........

Here's a shot from our guitarist's side of the stage

Communing with our drummer.....................

The casino printed these movies size posters too, happily we got a couple as souveniers, and as a side event there was a "evening gown" competition on Sat night. First prize went to a local guy about 6'3'' in a blue dress.......he had a nice beard too  ;)

Our keyboard player, Ginger was a show stopper when at one point she extended her Peacock feathers in front of the crowd!

And a very red shot of me with the Nikki Sixx MkII.

And best of all they want us back for more shows, we drew in a lot of folks so it turned out to be a great trip for us

Great stuff Mark!  That Nikki Sixx bass looks great.  I'll bet it sounded great too.  I was going to say some remark about "extending" things, but I'll leave that to Uwe!

Too cool!  Pro sound and lighting, huge stage, comped rooms and meals and most likely good pay!  Sounds like a working vacation to me ;D  You keep this up you'll need a bigger rig.... as in amps and cabs ;)

Simply iconic - looks like straight off Mott the Hoople live!  :)

That looks like it was a fun gig! The stage lights and small back lights remind me of the KISS show I saw in '78!

OVEREND WATTS IN A SKIRT...?!?!? :o

(I admit... a slow response... been away all week on a course in the north... desperately exciting...  :bored:)

Can't argue with the "iconic" though...
