I played a cherry red one recently (Bass Club Chicago). Really nice bass. Lightweight body with lots of contouring. I also played a LPB 5 string last winter. Not sure about the sound of these. They both seemed to have more thump than grind. I thought the 5er might have been the guys amp settings (I jumped on stage for a tune), but then kind of experienced the same thing with the 4. Maybe it was the strings???
