From the title, I have trouble even figuring out what it is!  And it's white, not grey.

Dir en Grey is meant to be to Dorian Gray what Lynyrd Skynyrd is to Leonard Skinner.

Their pretty boy looks totally defy the music they make, SoaD meets Rage against the Machine meets Einstürzende Neubauten meets Nine Inch Nails meets Marilyn Manson. I can appreciate them, but only in small doses. The kind of music which will have Edith ask helpfully agter about the first 10 seconds: "Will we be listening to the whole CD?"

When I put in one of their cds, my wife makes me skip thru to the couple of songs that she likes and then wants the disc changed.

Is called Visual Kei

Visual kei (??????? vijuaru kei?, literally "visual style") is a movement among Japanese musicians,[1][2] that is characterized by the use of make-up, elaborate hair styles and flamboyant costumes, often, but not always, coupled with androgynous aesthetics.[3][4] Some sources state that Visual Kei refers to a music genre, or to a sub-genre of J-rock (a term referring to Japanese rock in general[5][6]), with its own particular sound, related to glam-rock, punk and metal.[7][8][9][10] However other sources state that Visual Kei's unique clothing, make-up, fashions, and participation in the related sub-culture is equally as important as the sound of the music itself in the use of the term.[11][12][13]

Deluhi - great guitarist

Another band I like in the Genre- D'Espairs Ray - amazing band live- I got see them in a tiny bar in Chicago- They were one of the most polished, tightest bands I have seen.

I just don't bother at home - Kentuckian wife (likes all kinds of music - country and western ;D)

Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...
