Mine of course came stock with the Badbird :) It now sports two Thunderbuckers as well.

The ThunderBuckers have been a big hit, I just received sets 41 and 42 from Steve.  He also sent the split coil prototype with passive tone circuit.  Hope to get that into something soon for testing.  This is the switch, treble and 'bass' pots, no volume yet.

Hey Carlo, are they going to be a reissue of the '80s Tbird split coils or are you going to make a Chrome pickup for Precision lovers (i'd be sold)?

Is that from the broken pickup I got from Mark Hills and shipped to Steve??? I haven't heard anything from Steve yet.

Nope, by 'split coil' I meant coil tapping possibilities.  One coil has more winding on it to allow it to be used as a single coil pickup.  With switching you can get some different sounds.

No, it's a modded Thunderbucker.  Steve's on vacation for most of October in England.

One coil has more winding on it to allow it to be used as a single coil pickup.

That technic gives also a nice sparkly humbucker sound I've heard.
Music was better when ugly people were allowed to make it.
