8 ohm?  How much you want for it?

Yes, 8 ohm.  It's heavy.  How does $175 plus shipping sound?  I've never shipped anything like this, so I have to figure out how to pack it and keep it safe.

The shipping from OH might make it a bit pricey.  Let think about it.

Interesting port design. I wonder what the idea of that is? It's almost a horn-ish shape,
reminds me a bit of the Schroeder I had for a while - minus the goofy side-firing speaker Schroeder mounted in there...

I always kinda liked Peavey cabs - with almost anything other than Peavey amps driving them ;)
Basses: Gibson lpb-1, Gibson dc jr tribute, Greco thunderbird, Danelectro dc, Ibanez blazer.  Amps: genz benz shuttle 6.0, EA CXL110, EA CXL112, Spark 40.  Guitars: Danelectro 59XT, rebuilt cheap LP copy

Trace 1153: cheap, great sounding, and extremely versatile with tunable ports.

I solved my cabinet issues.  I took the Mesa manual with me to practice and dailed in the amp to essentially neutral and made a few small adjustments to the bass and treble dials.  The improvement in tone and clarity was super.  The speakers really responded well to the change and my problem was not having the controls et properly.  Who knew the manual would actually lead me in the right direction?   :P

Manual huh. That's the little booklike, sort of magazine thing that comes in the box when you buy stuff, right ???. I'm gonna have to give one of them a try myself one day ;)

While I love tackling things on my own without reading themanual first, sometimes you just gotta admit to yourself you don't know everything and do some home work.  You'd think I'd do that everytime since I'm a professor!  My weakness is always wanting to figure things out on my own first.  It's a character flaw for sure. :P
