I'll take some pics tomorrow, you impatient lot  .....my cheap-ass camara needs daylight .......

Anyway, pics won't do her justice. It's true, she's much more beautiful live. She hangs on the wall next to the red DA Starfire w/Dark Stars ( and that's a beauty, believe me ) which now looks like an ordinary run-of-the-mill bass in comparison ....... There should be a law ......   :P

Very nice.  I have one with the natural finish.  Installed TI Flats and love it.  I did change the bridge to a HipShot.   Fit in perfectly.  Now we have better adjustment range.

Don't know what you paid, but I got mine from MusiciansFriend.  They had a blow out sale, stupid deal of the day and I had a 20% vip discount.    My price was $720 delivered.   So now MF tries to screw me and they send a blem.  Not a problem for the price, but, I wanted a pristine one.

Yada yada yada, I got them to send me a new one without any damage by threatening to return it.

You never know who your friends are ......

Zie pics as promised .........

This is basically the way she's arrived. She's got a set of spaghetti like ( .035 / .095 ? ) strings on her which are to be replaced post haste and a mock-bar is going to be installed of course. The jury isn't in about the "SG" TRC. Somehow it doesn't bother me as much as on the Standard. May have to do with the fleur-de-lis inlay on the headstock. The knobs aren't your standard speed knobs, they're a bit tapered. Me likes a lot better, they may even migrate to my Iba CS once the mirror caps have arrived ........... Hmmmm yeah ........ decisions decisions .....  :-\

From what I can see, that does look like a very thick maple top.

I assure you it is as thick as as the maho part, a real sandwich and you hear the maple too.

Let's hope I've got enough time left then .....  ;D  Always thought I would chuck it all in when I would turn 50 but here I am, going on 60 and still playing in an old fashioned blues-rock band ( amps on 11 and all that shit ). It's really a toss up what will stop me: arthritus or deafness .....

[EDIT] She's arrived !!!!!!

What?

Darn left-lane-hugging Brits want to confuse everything!  >:(

Natürlich muss der Bass mit der Kopfplatte nach unten fotografiert werden, damit man unsere Nationalfarben erkennen kann:

Not wishing to raise the "fin" issue but a refin could fix her...
