Epi T-Bird - I am really surprised

Well guys,
after beeing mainly an Alembic guy I took the money to buy an Epi T-Bird because they are really that cheap here in Germany now that I couldn´t resist.
Well normally I am no fan of bolt necks but I was really surprised on the sound of this bass.
Okay the action was a bit high so at first I brought it to Entwistle level (" I love my strings behind the frets")
and I must say it sounds awesome now through my Ashdown Bentley rig.....
Cheers
Oliver

For the $$$ they are in fact, hard to beat. And they make a good starting point for a Queer Fenderbird too.

Ja, ja, it's never too late to find the path of righteous godliness and leave behind those false idols that blind you with glitter and, errrm, off board power supplies ... ...

How easily does a Fender neck fit an Epi TBird? I'd probably want to use a Precision neck, but only if it's a fairly easy swap.

Thank you,
this is why this bass was nicknamed on the Alembic forum with "Tears for John"

That does look nice. Even for an Alembic!

Very nice to have the owner of the only Alembic 'Buzzard-kinda-bass' here:) And your Bentley stack... Please post some pics. I'm happy with my Orange, but I just love Hiwatt and those Bentley stacks. There was one in a shop in Holland and I stood half an hour in front of it, just drooling like a kid in a candy store...
