Other BaCH's
« on: July 07, 2009, 09:59:15 PM »
I was perusing the BaCH website and came across this most appealing combination of styles.
Almost a Mel Schacher sig model. If it was a Jazz body it would be at least.

That is stunning Rob. Brian West from West Guitars here in Adelaide recently built a similar bass to that. The customer asked for a combination between the looks of an Allen Woody Rumblekat and a Ric. It looked absolutely beautiful.

The PB-60 does look interesting. I wonder about the pickup, could it be the high output Artec "mudbucker" copy?

the artec mudbuckers are fender pole piece spacing and that one looks like it is too.
Louder bass!.

That's good to know about the Artec. I didn't even think about the polepiece spacing.

In this case, the pickup's in the traditional Precision location and the polepieces look aligned. And we know BaCH does business with Artec.

The pups on this copyrick must be those Epi uses on the bolt-on Tbirds. Those are VERY HEAVY on the mids!
Music was better when ugly people were allowed to make it.

Talk about GFR, haven't seem Daniel aka Doombass around much lately.
Daniel's band do a lot of Grand Funk Railroad too.
