Happy new year everyone! I have to work - off to temple for a short service, ring the bell 108 times, then eat "toshi koshi" soba noodles - but fortunately I'll be done by 10 and can come back home before things get crazy!

2010 was not a good year for me. Of course I'm not the only one who ever faced problems so I'll say to everyone; no matter how good or not so good your 2010 was, I hope 2011 brings you much success, happiness, and love. I'm happy to count you guys as my online family. Thanks for all your good wishes and encouragement.

Happy new years guys!  I'll be lucky to make it to midnight :-[  Something about sitting in the Lazyboy with a remote in hand seems to knock me out faster than any sleeping pill known to man kind! ;D

Everyone be safe!

And my first revelation for 2011 is:

 My liver loves Glenlivet (Scotch)!

Resident T Bird playing Drag Queen www.thenastyhabits.com  "Impülsivê", the new lush fragrance as worn by the unbelievable Fräulein Rômmélle! Traces of black patent leather, Panzer grease, mahogany and model train oil mingle and combust to one sheer sensation ...

May you all have a wonderful & prosperous 2011 with good gigs & cool recordings & much success!!!
...or at least make progress towards doing all that in the years ahead...

Hey~ There's going to be a Benefit Concert for Phil Kennemore in the Bay Area New Year's Eve--TOMORROW!
Many Special Guests are donating their talents--all proceeds go to Phil!
Geoff Tate of QUEENSRYCHE, Chuck Billy of TESTAMENT & Don DOKKEN among others!!!
I may go but probly will just donate the ticket price ($75) & lay low.
If you'd like to go to the show &/or donate to our fellow bassplayer's fight against lung cancer, here's a link:

www.meniketti.com/philfund.html

Y&T & WHITESNAKE are my 2 fav bands!! (next to me own bands. heh)
Phil is one of my HEROES & a friend & mentor tooo
He's a great guy & deserves to WIN this FIGHT!

Drive Carefully if ya go out on NYE! & if ya drink don't drive!

Cheeers

The concert was 5 hours long!!!!! Soundcheck was 4 hours!!!!
Lots of hard work & LOVE poured into the Benefit for Phil!

One of the ol' guys on the Y&T forum dropped dead in the parking lot after the show!
Tragic end to a magic night! His name was Steven.

At a party in Santa Cruz the guitar player in both my bands who is also named Steven fell 12 feet all drunk & had to go into ER.

Take It Easy, my fellow old timers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, the only up side for him was it was post the event...

Good luck for your buddy...

Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...

YEAH! The Steven who died got a ROYAL sendoff from his fav band!

The other Steven- my dear ol' bud & bandm8--is back home with a gash in his head & some major bruises & can hardly move; waiting for x-ray & test results.
Hopefully he'll be fine! & change his ways
Thanks, Kenny!
