And how does it play? Do the p.u.'s cover them all?

It's nice, low action, intonation is good. SX pickups are pretty hot so the balance string to string is right on.

Very cool!  I've often thought of trying something like that with a Bronco.  Is that just a regular guitar bridge or something special?  It's a lefty but you string it righty?

Looks like you should use a different bridge with wider spacing.  Strings look kinda crowded and sit way inboard from the edges of the fretboard.

That Ursa headstock actually looks better with 6 tuners.  What gauge strings did you use?

I figured since I was making it for ME, I should use what I'm used to, so I got a bridge with the same spacing as my J.Jones Bass VI and my Gretsch Bass VI.
The strings "sit way inboard from the edges of the fretboard" 'cause the bass was originally a 4-string(see the "Before" pic).

It made its gig debut Saturday, about 4 times a month we play with an orchestra, I used the new 6-string on the Fender Bass VI tunes. Haven't seen any pics yet but here's one from previous, and a few Beatles/Bass VI pics.

Did Lennon actually play that 6-stringer on any recorded Beatle tunes?
