You should be able to use the drawing directly to make a template on masonite or smooth plywood. Just doublecheck your printer scaling to make sure it comes out the right size.

This has not escaped me.  It would take a good deal of time to make a template from scratch - when one has never done it before.

I'm all for making stuff but for six bones I would be very tempted to go the StewMac route.  You could then use the template to make another template thereby saving the original template from a Murphy type mishap ;)  Not that I have ever been known to inadvertantly damage a tool or anything :-[ :rolleyes:

The correct acronym is DAMHIKT (don't ask me how I know this). Saves having to go into detail.  :)
