Ah~ I still LOVE 60s Psychedelia!

Lee Michaels was great & recorded several albums just as a duo--him on Hammond organ & Frosty on drums:

Carnival of Life has a cat named John Keski on bass, Hamilton W. Watt on guitar, Eddie Hoh on drums & strangely enuf--anuzza organ player--Gary Davis (no, not the Rev.-he was an axmon.
So this album ROCKS a lot harder than most of the other stuff Lee did.

I love Steve Winwood's B-3 playing on Voodoo Chile & other Classic Rock songs too...Traffic was my fav band to see in the early 70s & I saw 'em A LOT!!!!!!!!!
Again, Traffic was at their best when they had a bassplayer too...& a full band.
Ric Grech played well on Low Spark & David Hood (who's played on twice as many albums-1,000 or so!-- as Tony Levin--500 or so) did well onstage & on Shoot Out At The Fantasy Factory.
Dave Mason played bass on Traffic's 60s albums...& got good on guitar later.
I loved his album Alone Together & saw him lotsa times at The Troubadour.
WELCOME TO THE CANTEEN was anuzza great TRAFFIC album featuring Grech on bass & Mason on guitar.
I saw 'em on the WELCOME TO THE CANTEEN TOUR, it was great!

The ultimate psychedelic album still has to be Todd Rundgren's A True Wizard, A True Star.  The liner notes reveal that the whole album was recorded on copious amounts of 'shrooms and alcohol.

I'm, not sure I would consider Humble Pie as Psychedelic?

Maybe they weren't flyin' but my high school buds & I were when we blasted 'em on our 8 tracks cruisin' L.A.!

Loved both bands, especially Traffic. Ever listen to Dave Mason is Alive? Great airy feeling on that live album.
